Hi everyone! I have just found this website and decided that I need to become a member right now! My life is also ruled by my yorkie Bellamea! She's got more personality than both our neighbours and she just makes me smile everyday! She talks to me, and constantly wants attention. She also has a brother called Jack. He is a staffie that we rescued about a year ago, and they are best friends. They snuggle everyday and share toys and food!

Even though I feel totally capable being Bella's pack leader, she does sometimes do things that annoy me (like still weeing on my carpet inside when it rains!) So I figured it would be a good idea to be able to get some advise from other yorkie owners!

Bella was born in November 2009, so that makes her just over a year and a half! Can't believe she's all grown-up already

@Megz - where do you stay? Maybe we can have a play date?

I think you are in the same boat as many of us - yorkies just don't like to go out side to wee when it's raining

And you're not alone, my Yorkies also hate going outside when it's raining. I've finally had enough - I'm sick of having no carpets and watching where I step all the time. I've decided to use a gate to divide my apartment into sections - I need to reclaim my lounge somehow. Now, my Yorkies have the kitchen and the whole garden to themselves when I'm not home. We'll see if it works.
