| We had a bit of rain in the morning, but luckily, it cleared up and we had a great day!!
Sweetviolet, we have to look into doing socials in the different provinces. Because I'm in Cape Town, another member would have to take responsibility for organizing a social in a different province. If anyone is keen to do that, please let me know!! |

| Actually, Marilize, the Joburg contingent could meet at my house! I'm very near the N1, (near Woodmead and Rivonia) have TONS of parking (I can get 7 cars just in my driveway, not to mention all the verge space!), and I have a huge garden that is fenced and walled off so that even the tinies can't get out.
What else is involved (besides a space) in setting up something like this? |

We just chose a date, and a spot and everyone brought their own food and treats and water for their dogs and that was it. Marilize also asked everyone to bring a gift for the yorkie or for the owner of R50 and this was exchanged at the outing. Someone just has to take the lead to get something like this going!!! |

| Sweetviolet, you can start a thread in the Gauteng provincial section asking which members would be interested... this way you can see how many members are interested in going and then you can take it from there. In addition to the gift exchange, everyone brought some donations for PETS, a local rescue organization. I want to organize a social every quarter and for our next one (probably in February), we're going to have a braai! |

| At my MIL's in Durban North. Where are you? (We can go anywhere...Hubby was born and raised there so he pretty much knows the area. We have family in Umhlanga, Pinetown, Morningside...all over!. And we will probably go down to Amanzimtoti late Saturday to pick up a trailer because MIL is storing some furniture for us that we want to bring home). |
