Sorry this review a little late but have been in hospital for a small op...Anyway my fur lot have been on Lamb & Apple trial pack, then Arcana adult & now Orijen adult. they appear to love them all.......What I have noticed is that they seem more playful and their coats after two weeks shine like glass. No sign of tear stains...so all in all very impressed.
We are off for a long holiday to the Kalahari soon so will start the barf when I get back. To start think will do morning Arcana and around 4pm the raw and see what happens.
But boy even at this stage they are looking very good. Arelli

Glad you are good after the op!!

Ciara, Mika and Storm also enjoyed their Arcana. They even ate the pellets dry and cleaned their bowls. They dont do this with the RC or Hills. We always have to add extra meat or something nice before they eat.

Woohoo!! cheers I'm glad they are doing so well on the new foods! Things will only improve from here. I just got my 7.5kg Orijen Adult bag today and we will be starting with that tomorrow. My yorkies seem to enjoy crunching their way through the Orijen Smile
My dogs will also have Orijen kibble for breakfast and then raw for dinner. I still believe that raw food is the best because it is the freshest, but I'm feeding both because the variety is good for them.

Yes its the Orijin adult food they seem to like best of all and as val says dont have to mix anything in they gobble it up.

Marilize we buy organic chicken for ourselves when they slaughter at the of every month...am thinking what best cuts to order for the yorkie children?
Must admit still a bit scared of choking will have the vet on speed dial the first few times I imagine. but am so eager to get started.

I understand that you are worried about the bones, but you really don't have to be. Hehe, keep the vet on speed dial if it makes you feel better Smile
You can get chicken wings, drumsticks, necks or thighs for them! I haven't tried the drumsticks or thighs yet, but I like giving them chicken wings and necks a lot. Because the wings are a bit big for my 2kg June, I cut them at the joints with scissors, into 3 pieces. I only cut them to shorter the time it takes for June to eat.

The meaty bones are meant for them to be chewed, not gobbled up like their food. Don't be surprised if it takes some time or if they regurgitate the food. It's all part of the process and it takes a little getting used to. I actually put a small mat down in the kitchen for my yorkies to lie on while they chew the bones. Not only is the meat and calcium great for them, the chewing keeps them busy and their teeth clean Smile

Trigger and Taylor ill love it!!! We want to place an order soon. Our sample packs are up and they are almost finish with their Hills, so then we can start the new food regularly!!!

I started giving raw chicken breast to the dogs. They really love it!!!! We buy a lot of that packs for stir fry and other pasta dishes, so when I defrost some and chop it up, each one gets a portion with their meal and they go crazy for it!!! Ciara is still a little fussy and eats the raw meat one day and pulls her nose up the next day!!! Rolling Eyes But Im sure she will adjust.
