I received an email from PETS this morning and it really brings great sadness to my heart. If any of you can help them by donating a bag of food, money or maybe even foster a puppy or two, please let me know.

It seems we have reached a saturation point ((
we have no money, no food and +- 20 puppies that HAVE to find foster homes today!!

We will not be doing any further rescue work in the townships untill we have this situation under control.

So we PLEAD to you to please speak up if you can help foster, donate food or funds for much needed vaccines etc.
This is a sad day for us.

Oh shame How sad to hear that I can;t make a financial donation until pay day but I will keep their details and maybe collect some food etc and send it off. Where are they situated? Cape Town?

How do I donate food to them?? Are there any collection points in Stellenbosch?

Maybe you can also ask everyone coming to the Cape Town get together to bring a tin or two or a bag of food on that day that can still be donated to PETS.

I cannot take any pups unfortunately!!!! But I am willing to contribute food or blankets!

PETS has several drop-off points in Brackenfell, Strand, Somerset West, Milnerton, etc.

Thats great, Brackenfell is just around the corner from me!!!

Have just had a look at the PETS website - WOW - what incredible work those ladies are doing

They are also running a raffle to raise funds - the tickets are expensive (R250) but there's only 1000 tickets for sale, so you can support the cause and have a small chance of winning R62 500.00

It's a win win situation even if you don't win
