| Welcome Ange. Is it just me or do you sound like an Alcoholics Anonymous member Love the humour! Welcome to SA Yorkies, where we are all addicts. If you need any help with the forum, let me know and I will try to sort it out. How old is Bella? And where in Cape Town do you live? I live in Gardens with my two babies, my spunky two year old boy, Cash, and my adorable 3.5 month old girl, June. |

| Angie, I'm coming to the conclusion that Yorkies are like cats...you should get them in pairs! Puddin' was totally worn out after Bella went home...even my husband remarked on how quiet she was last night. She had such a great time with Bella! |

| I'm so glad their energies match! They enjoyed each other so much! Shaun also noted how tired she was, lol! I am thinking of getting a boy at the end of the year! So my search will begin soon! |

| There is a breeder with beautiful yorkies in Somerset West. Let me know if you need a number. She doesn't have a website. _________________ |

| Just be very careful where and from whom you purchase. There are some very suspect breeders out there who sell sickly puppies. My friend was told by one breeder not too feed her yorkie too much or it will grow too big!!!!!!!!! How sick size is genetic and starving the dog is disgusting. |

| Yeah, there are some terrible breeders. Even though some of the pups aren't sick and continue to be healthy as can be, they have behavior problems.
I got Cash from a BYB in Klapmuts (before I knew what to look out for) and although he has never been sick, I have had to do extensive training to get him to where I want him. He is still very scared of strangers since the breeder's son hurt the puppies. When Cash came to me, he was covered in fleas and he was very stinky.
You have to be very careful of who you buy from. _________________ |

| People like that make me sick!!! My puppies are loved and cuddled from day one. They are part of the family till they go to their forever homes. It does make it harder for me to say goodbye but I want the puppy to be well socialised and happy when it leaves me. I have just bought another puppy and he came from a lady who is not a breeder. It was her first litter and of course the puppies were spoilt and loved and cuddled. It makes a huge difference and I can see it in this little puppy. His name is Picachu and he is a real baby. |
