| Amoureux mentioned this tip somewhere in one of our discussions, but I just wanted to post it again so anyone who might have missed it could see it. Maizena really works wonders for knots and tangles!!! Bugatti gets these knots by his hind legs (I don't know how but anyways...)  Anyways, I just sprinkled on a bit of Maizena powder and brushed out the knots softly. It comes out so easily!! On his dry coat! No need to wash him, put in conditioner etc. etc. It is really an excellent tip to know! |

| I missed this one, so thanks for posting the tip again! I want to try that on June because she gets terrible knots and tangles - I have to brush her every single day or she becomes very matted. It breaks her hair a lot and I don't feel that it helps if the hair is wet - her hair becomes very soft and stretchy. I'm definitely going to try the Maizena, thanks Jeanique (and Amoureux)! _________________  |

| WOW! I also missed it! Im SO going to try that because mine get hectic knots if they are in jerseys too long. normally under the arms and around the legs. and they hate having them brushed out.

| Know this might be a very old post, but this is a great bit of advice!!! I tried it this morning with Jolee... and what used to be a very daunting task was over and done with in 5 minutes! She gets so upset with me if I pick up that brush... But I trust her fear for grooming has settled now  |
