I have told this story to at least 3 different, random people who have mentioned that they got their dogs in Wellington. When I ask if it was in Gnrl Hertzog Blvd, they have all acknowledged that that was the place where they got them. It is scary how many of the dogs that we love so much have come from this woman!

I know for a fact that she had yorkies as well. Thank God for the wonderful people at the SPCA!

Thats so terrible!!! Now that you mention it I almost bought a pup from someone in Wellington earlier this year. The lady seemed very never minded and eventually told me the pups died and she still seemed never mind!!! I was very sad of course. I cant remember he name anymore!!!!

I am glad that the SPCA put a stop to it. But how many other places like this still exist!!!

We had this talk many a times here on SAY, sadly as long as there is a market for the pups, people will get greedy and breed for the money rather than the health of the pup and the welbeing of the breed!!!

I had another encounter from someone who lowered the price of a male pup for me because he was desperate to get rid of the pup. The day I was supposed to view the pup he said sorry the people who wanted the female now wants the male and he gave it to them. I was furious!!!!! But then again, everything works out they way it should and I got a lovely pup somewhere else!!!!

Val, you're right! Everything works out like it should! Now you have little Mika, June's half-uncle, lol! Just thinking about the issues those people's puppies must have makes me happy for you!

You are right Marilize and I could not have asked for a healthier happier pup!!!! He was worth the wait!!!
