| I know not many places are Pet-friendly but I have been to a couple that don't mind 1.House of Coffee's at Clearwater Mall -allowed me to have Jamie in their outdoor section
2.The Buzzy Bee tea Garden- at Reptipets, allowed Jamie there as well
3.Palm Court Shopping Center-In Weltevreden Park has a Coffee shop where I have noticed several pet owners have their dogs,I have seen a pug,a Saint Bernard amongst others..I think the owner is a pet lover |

| There are a number in East London as well. My fav is The Mugg And Bean and Floradale Nursery - yummy! I think if your Yorkie is so well behaved and you go to the place often then they love you visiting. It only takes someone with a bratty not-controlled dog to destroy things. We that have dogs that excel in darling behaviour should be allowed to show them off! People who don't want to teach their dogs should simply stay away and never own dogs. |

| I agree,Jamie just sits on a chair and looks cute.He has his own bowl that I keep in my bag and goes everywhere with me..I even take him to Wimpy! Not all Wimpy's will allow him but two have. You have to know which dog you can take in,Shelby,Suki and the poodles I never would take into a restaurant as I know they would not behave they are too boisterous,Jamie has gone everywhere with me and that is why he is so good, taking 7 dogs everywhere with you would be a bit much...Jamie also does not like to share and it is his escape from all the girls and to get his special "mommy" time |

| Cape Town is full of dog friendly places! I bring Puddin' in a dog purse and invariably at some point or another, she is fussed or fawned over by patrons and employees alike. I am sure that her being dressed in a cute dress and matching broekies makes a difference, too...
I think keeping her confined to her bag...I unzip the the top so she can look out...helps. We just walk in like having a dog in my handbag is normal, and we've never, ever been stopped or tuned away. Of course, mostly we opt for places with outdoor eating areas, but even some indoor places allow her.
Some places that have welcomed her: Starlite Diner (Durbanville, near the Velodrome) Slow food market at Willowbridge Centre (Durbanville) Chaplan's at West Coast Village (Table View) Beanz at Table View Mall NewsCafe, Blouberg Beachfront
I think most restaurant owners are concerned about two things: the dog annoying other patrons and soiling...problems they seem to find acceptable in children visiting their premises, but not dogs. If your dog is in a handbag or doggie pram, those problems are solved. Now, if the restaurant owners would just apply the same criteria to children, I'd be a happy dog mom!
Fiesta! (at the Cape Quarter) |

| In Cape Town, I have taken Cash to some shops that were fine with him and Da Vinci's (a great pizza place) has also allowed him.
I think the purse is a great idea. Now just to get Cash in a purse! |

| I have a cosmic pets carrier and I put Jamie in the trolley in there and then put my jersey ontop and voila not a dog in sight...my dad usually goes shopping with me and will stand outside holding Jamie at any places we can't go.He says he won't b seen with me if we have a doggie pram. |

To post pictures you post a reply/new topic and above the mssage body you click on the 15th block and it will say host a image, click on that and it automatically signs you up for a servming account, you then click upload look on your computer, once it is done I usually use the 2nd option and then paste the url/code into the message body area.In order to continue composing your post just click the box again once you have your code/url and it will close...otherwise just use photobucket..it is easier for some people!!
The 19th button down looks like a filmstrip and has two options youtube and daily motion, click on which ever one you want it will go to youtube and you get the URL as usual |

| I must say that most restuarants in Cape Town allow us to sit outside with our dogs. Definitely one of the advantages of having small dogs! We always make sure that we ask first, just to make sure, even if we have been to that restuarant before. |
